Having both been on this site at different ends of the age barrier a chance wink and coincedental message between a 53 and 19 year old and as walk in the park with the dogs we have found that age is no barrier in "true love" and we have found that we are inseperable as friends, partners, lovers and now fiancees. Our future together as Husband and Wife is a never ending union. We'd like to thank AMM because if it wasn't for them we would never have met our other half. We look forward to having kids and are blessed in all we have and most of all each other. Thanks AMM

I met the love of my life on AMM in October 2007. We have literally been inseperable since then.
We moved in together just before Christmas and couldn't be happier.
I dated two people from AMM previous to meeting Jody, third time lucky as they say.
There is even talk of a wedding and baby in the future!

I have been on and off amm for a few years met some really nice people got failed relationships as well and nearly gave up, and one day i was going through my winks and saw my now current boyfriend and thought why not so i winked back and he messaged me back we exchanged emails addy's and i found out we used to work together for yrs lol.
We met and became friends for a while and on boxing day 2007 became an item, ever since then my lifes changed for the better i am soooo in love with him and his taught me that there are men out there that are truely romantic and not nasty like some ppl believe.

My advice to every one is keep trying the right ones out there waiting for u to find them.

Hi, I came to Aussie matchmaker not expecting anything, through a review site. After reading the review there, I though Aussie MM was the place to go. Well I never would have believed it...I wasnt on very long and I was getting messages etc. I havent meet the man of my dreams, but have meet lots of new people. That I hope to keep contact with. Thanks AMM you have opened up a lot of new doors, I will remain a member for a very long time

I've figured out the difference between internet dating and real life dating

Having stipulated "friends" and not looking for a relationship... I thought I would be safe from finding the "one", especially since I was not looking & came in here just for my nightly social chats....well...guess what?... it happens!.. No matter how hard I tried to ignore the feelings, realisation of distance & sleepless nights from trying to drag myself away from my computer, engulfed with the presence of my perfect man, it was impossible.

Only advice that I can be give is that although you may fight the feelings, I think you can learn more from someone through typing out your true self, not a persona of who you want others to think you are... and there may be someone out there that will totally understand you to the point of being that missing jigsaw piece to make you whole.

Sometimes face to face can be daunting due to the concern or insecurities of whether we are pretty enough, funny enough, thin enough, or generally perfect enough as depicted in magazines....etc... by getting to know the mind of one, you just know if you will click or not...

I was lucky to find my other half, without even searching. Open your heart, be yourself and don't try and be someone you think others will like... you will only sell yourself short...

After 15 years of uncontentment, I know that I have found the one. No matter what hurdles jealous or unhappy people may throw our way or the obstacle that distance prevails, love is stronger than that.

Don't give up! It will happen, when you don't even expect it!

Maybe all of us here are here because we still hold hope that although our past relationship/s have been crap, we are willing to put our pasts behind us & open our frail hearts enough to allow the search for the "right" one or "soulmate"....or whatever u wanna call it!

I know that for the first time in my life, I am really in love. I love it!

We both had nearly given up hope at finding love and then it happened. We met in February and were engaged 6 weeks later and we had the happiest day of our lives on our wedding day 17 November this year.

Everyone doubted how quick it was (and because of the persona around the internet dating thing) but when you know you know, we are very happy and haven't looked back! And now we tell everyone to get online and try Aussie!!!

Thanks again Aussie for helping me find my life long partner! We couldn't be happier.

It happened so suddenly on here.

I stumbled into the chat room and was immediately taken by her charm and wit. Her profile read like the woman i had always hoped i would meet. We chatted and soon we became besotted with each other. It was like only 4 weeks and we were talking marriage, children, everything.

Coldhearted could not have made me any happier :D

I have been on this site for almost 12 months now. I moved to victoria from Cairns QLD once i met my mr right. i sent him a message and he replyed and it went on from there. He stole my heart the minute he replyed. It was difficult at first because of our age gap (12 yrs) but we soon realised that age didn't matter because we were in love i am now here in vic and have been for over 4 months now and we are engaged and trying for a baby. things couldn't be better.. This site works

Hey just wanted everyone out there that gets frustrated with people on this site that play games etc. Dont give up as I nearly did and Im glad I didnt as I wouldnt of met Mark. Early days yet but I think Iv met someone really special. Now the only time Im on the computer is if Im actually home and talking to him. There are good people out there it just takes a while to find them and weed out the idiots. So Aussie Match Maker thankyou. I found my man finally. I also have a few nice friends Iv talked to on this site and hey they are really nice guys I can vouch for it. So ladies if still looking why not wink mangles or Bradski both very nice guys. Just wanted to say that I found the most fantastic women on Aussie matchmaker. We are engaged and expecting a baby in March 2008.

There is definatly no way I could of ever met her if I didnt use Aussie Matchmaker.
