So here I sit...with my heart and mind elsewhere and I can't imagine a better place for them to be. For they are with an amazing guy, who I can imagine being with til we are both old and gassy and having regular doses of prune juice. We have technically been 'together' for 7 months and these past months have taught me how amazing and caring and considerate and loving a man can be to his partner. My dreams of what a relationship should be like, what I have been searching for all this time, has finally come true! I am not living in a dream of what happens in the movies, like my Mum kept saying...I held out for what I really wanted and found it.
Pete, if you read this, you know how truly grateful I am that you have entered my life. You are home to me. I just feel so myself with you. I know there will be tough times, as it is now, with the stress that packing up and moving is bringing. But the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow after all this rain...is more than I could ever have hoped for. I can't wait to be with you and make plans for our future. I love you and I am so glad we met each other. So happy to still be so in love with you still...and always. I love the fact that you find new ways, without intention, to make me fall in love with you more and more each day. xo ainsliejane
