colin21972 and myself originally made contact with each other via this website in mid May 2008 (this year). It took a month of messaging via here, some sms and Facebook chat for us to finally meet face 2 face on "that fateful Thursday" (19 June). Since then we have been going from strength to strength. Some may say that the time has been short however it has been nothing but awesome for both of us! THANK YOU !!!!

Wel I have been on here now on internet dateing thing for a wile.
I meet some of the site and wrote many letters to each other getting to know one and other. And it got to the point were i trust the lady fully. so we set out to meet each other . she live oversea and said if i could help with air fight she would come out to visit me here in Australia,so send the money so she could get the her ticket. She send me the time her fligth was going be here at Brisbane airport. So I took time of work which took a bit to do at that time, I got ther in hour be for her fligth was to be there. I waited for 5 hours there she never can. So when i wrote to her she said was never coming as she just wont the money to pay forbills came up could not pay for the full price of the ticket. She so i send once more some money andso she get the ticket.
Again when to the airport and still did not come.then would not realpy to anything when i wrote or anwer phone calls. So out pocket $5000.0 ...

meet girl on site. She lived interstate we spoke on phone everynight for up too 6 hours a nite she said she loved me So every 2 week flew interstate to see her .Bought her things everytime i saw her .She said she was sellng her house to be near me . i said ok you can live with me . So we planned everything . Then i saw a change in her a nasty one . She said she hated sex and men and couldnt leave to go interstate and live . So she told me to live there . i said ok . took a holiday there first for 10 Days .Bought her alot of things for her and done the shopping for her and payed some of her bills Said she had no money and if i could lend it to her which i did . After 2 days couldnt take it no more and returned home and thought she is not for me .So i rang her and asked for the money back when she had it . She said ok and its been 9 months now and still no money , so i rang her for it and she said prove it you gave me no money . So now im out of pocket of $4700 and her account is closed and she has moved house ...

Having both been on this site at different ends of the age barrier a chance wink and coincedental message between a 53 and 19 year old and as walk in the park with the dogs we have found that age is no barrier in "true love" and we have found that we are inseperable as friends, partners, lovers and now fiancees. Our future together as Husband and Wife is a never ending union. We'd like to thank AMM because if it wasn't for them we would never have met our other half. We look forward to having kids and are blessed in all we have and most of all each other. Thanks AMM

I met the love of my life on AMM in October 2007. We have literally been inseperable since then.
We moved in together just before Christmas and couldn't be happier.
I dated two people from AMM previous to meeting Jody, third time lucky as they say.
There is even talk of a wedding and baby in the future!

I have been on and off amm for a few years met some really nice people got failed relationships as well and nearly gave up, and one day i was going through my winks and saw my now current boyfriend and thought why not so i winked back and he messaged me back we exchanged emails addy's and i found out we used to work together for yrs lol.
We met and became friends for a while and on boxing day 2007 became an item, ever since then my lifes changed for the better i am soooo in love with him and his taught me that there are men out there that are truely romantic and not nasty like some ppl believe. My advice to every one is keep trying the right ones out there waiting for u to find them. Happy hunting Love u babe xoxoxox #*Bubs*#

Hi, I came to Aussie matchmaker not expecting anything, through a review site. After reading the review there, I though Aussie MM was the place to go. Well I never would have believed it...I wasnt on very long and I was getting messages etc. I havent meet the man of my dreams, but have meet lots of new people. That I hope to keep contact with. Thanks AMM you have opened up a lot of new doors, I will remain a member for a very long time

I've figured out the difference between internet dating and real life dating
Having stipulated "friends" and not looking for a relationship... I thought I would be safe from finding the "one", especially since I was not looking & came in here just for my nightly social chats....well...guess what?... it happens!.. No matter how hard I tried to ignore the feelings, realisation of distance & sleepless nights from trying to drag myself away from my computer, engulfed with the presence of my perfect man, it was impossible.
Only advice that I can be give is that although you may fight the feelings, I think you can learn more from someone through typing out your true self, not a persona of who you want others to think you are... and there may be someone out there that will totally understand you to the point of being that missing jigsaw piece to make you whole.

We both had nearly given up hope at finding love and then it happened. We met in February and were engaged 6 weeks later and we had the happiest day of our lives on our wedding day 17 November this year. Everyone doubted how quick it was (and because of the persona around the internet dating thing) but when you know you know, we are very happy and haven't looked back! And now we tell everyone to get online and try Aussie!!! Thanks again Aussie for helping me find my life long partner! We couldn't be happier. Tony & Natalie

It happened so suddenly on here. I stumbled into the chat room and was immediately taken by her charm and wit. Her profile read like the woman i had always hoped i would meet. We chatted and soon we became besotted with each other. It was like only 4 weeks and we were talking marriage, children, everything.
