Hey just wanted everyone out there that gets frustrated with people on this site that play games etc. Dont give up as I nearly did and Im glad I didnt as I wouldnt of met Mark. Early days yet but I think Iv met someone really special. Now the only time Im on the computer is if Im actually home and talking to him. There are good people out there it just takes a while to find them and weed out the idiots. So Aussie Match Maker thankyou. I found my man finally. I met a lovely lady who I never even knew was using this site. My daughter actually introduced us!
At that time I was thinking about another women who lived closer to where I was- but she was just after sympathy and wasn't exactly honest in her profile about her looks, height and weight, I don't like being lied to so I started to pursue the other lady and I am glad I did. She has certainly made me a very happy man and I am relocating soon to be with her and her 10 year old daughter, we share so much in common and I never thought after a nasty divorce I would be able to move on again and find happiness.

So for those of you who are waiting, don't give up, the right person is out there! Just be honest in your profile and about yourself- lying doesn't get you anywhere.

My profile was on the site for about 24 hours when David wrote to me. He was in Melbourne and I was living in New York getting ready to move home within 6 months. I had a pretty amazing response from my profile so hid it pretty quickly and started talking to about 6 guys I had swapped details with. David was the shining star for me when we started talking via IM, and then phone.

We became friends for a couple of months until I got home for Christmas. I was scared to meet because I didn't want to lose the great friendship. Well we did meet on December 19th and the chemistry was awesome! We had found perfection in a relationship...trust, respect, chemistry, passion and we still have the great friendship! I'd been on AMM for months, had a few dates but nothing that really clicked and went beyond acquaintances. Then, as I was beginning to lose faith in the whole internet dating thing along she came. I read her profile and knew she was going to be someone who had the capacity to enchant my heart.
