My profile was on the site for about 24 hours when David wrote to me. He was in Melbourne and I was living in New York getting ready to move home within 6 months. I had a pretty amazing response from my profile so hid it pretty quickly and started talking to about 6 guys I had swapped details with. David was the shining star for me when we started talking via IM, and then phone.

We became friends for a couple of months until I got home for Christmas. I was scared to meet because I didn't want to lose the great friendship. Well we did meet on December 19th and the chemistry was awesome! We had found perfection in a relationship...trust, respect, chemistry, passion and we still have the great friendship! Life together is awesome. We moved in together, and 2 weeks ago we got engaged, 6 months to the day after I finished work in New York. I am truly blessed with David coming into my life, I couldn't have found a better match for me.

So here I sit...with my heart and mind elsewhere and I can't imagine a better place for them to be. For they are with an amazing guy, who I can imagine being with til we are both old and gassy and having regular doses of prune juice. We have technically been 'together' for 7 months and these past months have taught me how amazing and caring and considerate and loving a man can be to his partner. My dreams of what a relationship should be like, what I have been searching for all this time, has finally come true! I am not living in a dream of what happens in the movies, like my Mum kept saying...I held out for what I really wanted and found it.

Pete, if you read this, you know how truly grateful I am that you have entered my life. You are home to me. I just feel so myself with you. I know there will be tough times, as it is now, with the stress that packing up and moving is bringing. I'd been on AMM for months, had a few dates but nothing that really clicked and went beyond acquaintances. Then, as I was beginning to lose faith in the whole internet dating thing along she came. I read her profile and knew she was going to be someone who had the capacity to enchant my heart.

After the first reply to each other we began talking on IM and clicked first thing. We really connected on a deep level and had so much in common and most importantly were able to laugh together enjoy each others company.

From there we went on a few dates and decided to become exclusive and things have continued to blossom from there. Life is great and sharing it with the woman I meet here on AMM who is now my girlfriend has just made it even better each day.

Thanks AMM for providing the place for both of us to meet one another otherwise I doubt it would have happened otherwise.

I just wanted to say a "HUGE" THANKYOU TO" AMM"..I believe i have found my soul mate..I have never felt so special..Wen i came onto this sight i had no great expectations, along the way i have met some great people / mates..Somehow i managed to find "RICK" Although our relationship is new i believe we have a great future together!!!
The moment i met "RICK it just felt so right!!! Thanks Amm, I joined not expecting to meet the right person - was thinking that i was destined to singledom. Until i met Lonelyperthpom. He has been the best thing that has happened to me in the last 2 years. We have been together for 5 months now.... Moved in together and are planning a fantastic future. We have just got our first pet together and are loving it !!!!!!
